Nowadays there is such a large supply of food and more specifically luxury products. The shelves are full of high-calorie delicacies. So it’s not surprising that we no longer know what is healthy or unhealthy. For the dietitian, the challenge is to increase the awareness among clients so they can leave the practice informed and happy. The dietitian also helps and coaches the client. Dietician practice Salu focuses on all age groups. Multidisciplinary collaboration is important here, including collaboration with the general practitioners, physiotherapists and home care workers. This makes it possible to act effectively and quickly on a medical complaint. Many goals can be achieved with motivation and positive energy. This results not only in a healthier, but also happier life.

You can visit the dietitian for advice on: Diabetes Mellitus, high blood pressure (hypertension), gastrointestinal complaints, underweight, obesity (also for children), sleep apnea, eating problems, vegetarian food, allergies or intolerances, pregnancy and too high cholesterol levels (hypercholesterolemia).

If you are unable to come to the practice, it is also possible that the dietitian comes to your home for a home visit. This requires a referral from the (family) doctor with the indication of why a home visit is desired.

You will be reimbursed for 3 hours per year from the basic insurance. It will first be deducted from your own risk amount. You can get a referral from the GP for dietary advice, however this is no longer mandatory.
